Nintendo Direct:Switch Super Smash Bros, 2019 3ds games, and others

This year’s second Nintendo Direct has just passed, a fair number of new 3DS games including a remake of Lugi’s Masion and some amazing Switch titles for example, the Super Smash Bros Nintendo Switch version have been revleaed. New 3DS Games(2018-2019)

Warioware Gold 3DS

  • Releasing date: WarioWare Gold will launch on Aug. 3
  • Game details: Similar to Mario Party: The Top 100, WarioWare is getting a similar collection that bundles up 300 microgames in a single package. It’s been a long time since we had a new WarioWare game, but even longer still since one came to handhelds. WarioWare Gold will be out in August, and Nintendo is promising that it will be more packed than any other previous game in the series.
  • Remake or New: New 3ds release.

Dillon’s Dead Heat Breakers 3DS

  • Releasing date:  Dillon’s Dead Heat Breakers will launch on May 24.
  • Game details: Dead-Heat Breakers will be another game in the Dillon series, and the latest entry which allows its titular character to team up with your Mii, who can join your team as gunners. There’ll be a demo on the eShop on May 10th, and the full game is out on May 24th.  In short, it’s an action, tower-defense game for your Mii character.
  • Remake or New: New 3ds release.

Sushi Striker: The Way of Sushido 3DS

  • Releasing date:  3DS Sushi Striker: The Way of Sushido will launch on June 8. .
  • Game details: The action puzzle game finds players devouring conveyor-belt sushi, matching plates and then throwing them to defeat enemies,” Nintendo said in a press release. “The basics are simple, but the gameplay is deep … and tasty! In the game’s multiplayer mode, players can even compete locally or online* against other players in intense matches.”
  • Remake or New: New 3ds release.

Detective Pikachu 3DS

  • Releasing date: Detective Pikachu 3DS will launch on March 23.
  • Game details: Play as Tim Goodman and partner up with the “great detective” to solve strange occurrences in Detective Pikachu, releasing on March 23, 2018. Alongside the release of the game, you can also purchase two separate Ambio figures, with one of them being a Detective Pikachu Amibo.
  • Remake or New: New 3ds release.

Luigi’s Mansion 3DS

  • Releasing date: Luigi’s Mansion 3DS will launch in 2018.
  • Game details: The classic Nintendo Gamecube game has been remade for the 3DS. New features include a mansion map displayed on bottom screen and a new Boss Rush mode.
  • Remake or New: Remake.

3DS Mario & Luigi: Bowser’s Inside Story + Bowser Jr.’s Journey

  • Releasing date: It will launch in 2019.
  • Game details: A remake of the critically-acclaimed Mario & Luigi: Bowser’s Inside Story is coming in 2019. New features include allowing you to switch between the brothers to platform inside Bowser and then control Bowser outside to explore the overworld.
  • Remake or New: Remake.

About Nintendo Switch

Kirby Star Allies for Switch

Kirby Star Allies Nintendo Switch version will be available to play on March 15. Within the game, King Dedede, Meta Knight and Bandana Waddle Dee can be your friends on your journey. There will be more “dream” friends in the future. Rick, Kine, Coo, Marx and Gooey will be the first friends available in a post-launch update available March 28.

Super Smash Bros. for Switch

Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo Switch will come out in this year. Nintendo also revealed that the Switch version of the game will include the squid kids from Splatoon. The company referred to the title as Nintendo Switch Super Smash Bros. and noted that “recognizable faces like Mario, Link and the Inklings from the Splatoon series”appear in the game.

Mario Tennis Aces

The first Nintendo Switch Mario Tennis game, Mario Tennis Aces will be here around June 22. Also, more game details are to be seen from this Nintendo Direct presentation.

  • Peach, Daisy, Boo, Bowser, Bowser Jr., Donkey Kong, Chain Chomp, Yoshi, Rosalina, Toadette, Toad are confirmed.
  • The zone shot lets you pinpoint the spot you want to hit the ball using the motion control.
  • If your racket takes three hits your racket breaks, you automatically lose.
  • You can block this pinpoint shot to protect your racket.
  • Zone speed allows you chase down a ball by slowing down time around you.
  • Can’t spam zone speed and zone shot, you can only initiate these moves by using your energy gague. It fills up the longer a rally goes.
  • The trick shot lets you fill up your gauge faster, but it’s tricky to use. If you successfully use it, your gague will rise.
  • The special shot will eat up your energy but it can destroy your opponents racket in one hit. It can be blocked so be careful.
  • Simple rules can also be used to play a classic game of Mario Tennis without Zone shots, trick shots or special shots.
  • You can use the joy-con as a tennis rocket using the motion control.
  • Online tournaments will reward players with clothes and even new characters. Koopa Troopa was in a silhouette.
  • A pre-launch tournament will allow for players to try it out before the game’s release at a later date.
Splatoon 2 Ver. 3.0

3.0 update update for Splatoon 2 is coming in late April. There will be new gear, stages, playable Octolings, and more. An paid DLC expansion( Octo Expansion ) is also set to release this summer, and it includes new single-player levels mode that casts you as an octoling named Agent 8 who has to make her way through 80 test facilities connected by a subway. Once you finish, you’ll get to play in multiplayer as an octoling.

  • 100 new pieces of gear.
  • Three new stages.
  • Rank X is coming and is a rank higher than Rank S+
  • You’ll play as Agent 8 who looks like an Octoling.
  • There are eight test facilities to explore.
  • New stories shed light on characters. Finish this expansion and you’ll be able to become an Octoling in online matches.
Switch Hyrule Warriors: Definitive Edition

In this May, Fans of Wii U-exclusive Hyrule Warriors will finally be able to get their hands on the upcoming Switch edition of the game. It is consists of all existing content released for the game, including DLC maps, characters, and missions. Two-player local multiplayer is supported, and you can play with a friend by each using a single Joy-Con.

Dark Souls Amiibo And Network Test Beta

Dark Souls Remastered will hit Switch on May 25, since its first announcement from this January’s Nintendo Direct Mini presentation. The latest Nintendo Direct event also shows that alongside the game itself, an Amiibo figure based on Dark Souls is on the way. A network test beta is also scheduled to occur sometime before launch.

According to Nintendo, this Amiibo will let you “perform the popular ‘praise the sun’ gesture with reckless abandon.”

Travis Strikes Again: No More Heroes

The much-awaited No More Heroes sequel was showcased during the Nintendo Direct presentation. It sports seven different game type and a co-op multiplayer mode where you share Joy-Con controllers. Each game has a boss at the end. You can play co-op with the Joy Con to partner with the infamous Bad Man.

Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker

The incredibly adorable puzzler, Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker is finally coming to Switch. It included an added Super Mario Odyssey-themed level modeled after that game’s New Donk City location. You can also play with a friend–each using one joy-con–where one controls Toad and the other can shoot turnips to attack enemies. A 3DS version that features duel-screen and touch screen support is also set to release.

The game will be out on July 13, and is also coming to 3DS.

Crash Bandicoot: N-Sane Trilogy

Crash Bandicoot is returning to a Nintendo console for the first time in years with his recent N’Sane Trilogy. Okami HD is coming to Nintendo Switch, just as we hoped when it launched earlier this year. And Undertale, one of the most clearly Nintendo-inspired RPGs in recent memory, will finally make its Nintendo debut.

  • All three Crash Bandicoot games come to the Switch.
  • Release date is July 10.
Little Nightmares: Complete Edition

The well-received horror puzzler is coming to Switch this Mary. It includes all past DLC, as well as a special mask you can unlock by scanning in the Pac-Man Amiibo.

  • Release date is May 18
  • Complete edition comes with two separate stories.
  • All past DLC will be included in this version
  • Tap the Pac-Man amiibo figure to get an exclusive outfit
South Park: The Fractured But Whole

South Park: The Fractured But Whole is headed to Nintendo Switch. You’ll be able to buy all of the game’s DLC as well, either as individual downloads or through a DLC pack. It will launch on April 24 along with the first two DLC.

  • All past DLC will be available for purchase or in a season pass.
  • The third DLC will be available later this year.

Other Announcements

  1. Jason’s most anticipated Switch game Octopath Traveler is out on July 13, there are two more characters in the upcoming RPG, a merchant named Tressa, and an apothecary named Alfyn. A special edition was also revealed, which includes a map, pop-up book, CD, and a replica coin based on in-game currency.
  2. The goofy sushi battle game Sushi Striker: Way of the Sushido is now also coming to Switch.
  3. Arms players can compete in an online open tournament starting now going through March 18. The top eight players from these preliminary rounds will move onto an online finals on March 31.
